for sooooooo many months i didnt write a word, a lot was going on, first problems at work, then decision to leave, then the chance to leave, then leaving the company and the country, then the new life, new job, new country, new society,... all these changes that were going on didnt give me the time to blog (sometimes i had the time but not the will maybe)
anyway only zizou could make me blog again, of course i am talking about the great "rosseyya" that ended the career of a great player, the act itself didnt make me blog actually, although i was really sad for such a wonderful player to end his career like this but the comments about it, mainly comments to an article on an egyptian football site made me blog again, here is the article and all comments: http://www.yallakora.com/news/details.aspx?ID=10292
the article itself was saying that the italian player only insulted zidane's mother or sister and he said nothing against arabs or moslems, and i started reading the comments and i was really amazed how stupid we r getting day after the other, i dont know, is it really more obvious to me now coz i am living abroad and listening to different type of comments here???

after reading all this i was trying to imagine: how would have the comments been if zizou insulted materazzi and materazzi nata7 zizou????
i will end by one comment from a very good french friend, who was a huge fan of zizou, who never accepted any bad word about him, right after the game she sent me sms saying: the world cup was not the only thing i lost, i found out that for long time i considered a stupid guy as my hero!!!!!

I don't know you and could never really understand your blogs with that arabicized english - however chapeau at the sarcasm. I couldn't have said it better. we are becomig stupider everyday thanks to ignorance and lack of culture.
A head-butt in a world cup final is being appraised by the Arab world for the sake of manhood. It's either we're being blind or the meaning of manhood is synonymous with random, uncivilized and violent responses. I tend to think that in the Middle East it is the latter. Thank you Arab World for sticking your heads in the sand once again.

well, i dont really know, is it a matter of lack of culture or wrong understanding of the meaning of manhood or just ta3assob? i was really thinking how would have the comments been, if it wasnt zidane or as i wrote, if it would have been the other way round. i am nearly sure everyone would have said: ya 3am ma2alloosh 7aga, di nas bet2allef ayy kalam w khalas, but now as it is zidane, everyone has to stand on his side (el kawmeyya el 3arabeyya)
but what i liked most was the guy who saw a tattoo with negmet israel on materazzi's body:D i really couldnt imagine it could go that far:D
